705-989-4356 My name is Jane Weir, and I grew up not far from Prince, only a couple hundred feet away from the township line, on Walls Road but on the city side just past Base Line. I spent much of my childhood and teenage years making lifelong friends, playing, and exploring Prince Township.
I was able to return to Prince Township with my family in the spring of 2016. I joined the Recreation Committee not long afterwards as I wanted to give back to my community. This has brought me much joy and many new acquaintances and friends. I am proud of how the recreation committee has united and what we have accomplished with entertainment and being able to give back to the community by donating to other functions and groups. My husband Mac and I have been married for 27 years and we have a fabulous daughter Kate Lynn. I am employed at R.F. Contracting in the position of Administrative Assistant and love my job with its quick pace and many responsibilities. Prior to my current job I worked in manufacturing for over 16 years from production to my final role as Executive Assistant and Operations Coordinator. I am honored to have been elected and look forward to working with you, the residents, my fellow councilors, mayor and Township staff to better our wonderful community. |
