Councillor Eugene Caputo
Eugene Caputo is the newest face on the Prince Township council after being sworn in Oct. 12.
For over 15 years Eugene and his family, wife Tania and son Jared, have been calling Prince Township home. For Eugene, living in Prince is a way of life and meeting all kinds of great residents is why he chooses to serve on council.
Eugene's purpose is to advance the community the best he can and to work hard with other members to make Prince a desirable place to live. He strives for growth and promoting Prince Township's tranquility.
Eugene works as a lab technician at Tenaris Tube Algoma and serves as the recording secretary for United Steelworkers Local 9548 and a representative on the grievance committee. In his short time on council, he is already serving as the Fire Department Liaison and as a member on the Human Resources Committee.
Eugene is ready to be part of Prince's future.
