The 2026 Municipal Election will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Electors may vote during an Advance Voting Day or on Voting Day.
Advance Voting:
Wednesday, October 14, 2026
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Voting Day:
Monday, October 26, 2026
10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Voting Location:
Township Community Hall,
3042 Second Line West,
Prince Township ON P6A 6K4
Voting will be conducted in person using paper ballots.
Bring Identification
When attending the voting place, electors should bring identification showing their name and qualifying address.
Vote for Councillor:
Five candidates have been certified for the four Councillor positions.
Electors may vote for up to four candidates for Councillor.
The candidate for Mayor has been elected by acclamation; therefore, there will be no vote for Mayor.
Voters’ List Revisions
Beginning September 1, 2026, eligible electors may apply to have their information added to, removed from, or corrected on the Voters’ List.
Applications will be accepted in person at the Township Office during regular office hours using the Application to Amend Voters’ List. Residents attending the office to request a revision should bring appropriate identification and any supporting documents necessary to confirm their identity, qualifying address, or requested change.
Residents are encouraged to confirm that their information is correct before Voting Day.
The revision period will remain open until the close of voting on October 26, 2026.

- are a Canadian citizen;
- are at least 18 years of age;
- reside in the Township of Prince, or are the owner or tenant of land in the Township, or the spouse of such an owner or tenant; and
- are not prohibited from voting under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 or any other law.
