Councillor Enzo Palumbo
Councillor Enzo Palumbo actively supports programs and policies that strike a balance between growth and residential interests. Community comes first and Enzo believes the best solutions to problems are ones driven from the bottom up and not the top down. Councillor Palumbo supports the need for Council to be accountable and govern themselves with the highest level of integrity and transparency. His top priorities are safety, taxes, and managing growth that directly impacts the community.
Enzo has a reputation for asking difficult questions and demanding full disclosure on matters that are important to the taxpayers of Prince Township – his commitment to accountability, integrity and transparency will be a hallmark of his tenure on Council.
Currently Councillor Palumbo represents council on the Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority Board. He is also a committee member of the Prince Township Fire Association.
Enzo believes and supports active transportation and walkable community principles as well as equal communication technology service need to be incorporated into our existing neighborhoods and our future growth.
Councillor Palumbo emphasizes the importance of preserving the “country way of life” in our community. He also emphasizes and maintains, we must continue to preserve our township history and at the same time ensure we continue to refine our position in keeping inline with government initiatives.
Enzo believes the Strategic Plan for our community must instead be viewed as “Strategic Priorities”. To plan we, as a community, must commit to a short term, mid term, long term plan that must continue to be refined through out the years to reflect present situations.
